Established in 2006 by Rajesh and Jaya Ruke, Jiwhala Trust aims to empower these children to be self-reliant and gain access to mainstream sustainable livelihood avenues. The organization is located in Thane, India and is formally recognized as a Registered Trust by the Public Trust Act. Jiwhala Trust's vocational skill-development school, Ubhari, has a vision of conducting research on disability, providing training and support to special children on a large scale, and promoting their acceptance by society.

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide skill development opportunities to specially-abled adolescent children, particularly from underprivileged communities, and empower them to be self-reliant and gain access to mainstream sustainable livelihood avenues. We believe that every child deserves an equal opportunity to succeed and our aim is to make this a reality.
